Here are two Wedding Timeline Template ideas to get you started in your planning!

Let's start with a Traditional Timeline

Morning of; For the ladies hair and makeup starts in the morning. This starting time depends on how many of you there are so best to check with your hair and makeup artist for this start time.

1pm; Boys getting ready. About 2 hours before the ceremony start time is when i'll rock up at the boys house. I spend about 15 minutes getting all the details shots and then it’s time for the boys to get dressed.

2pm; Girls getting ready. Again I take about 15 minutes for the detail shots and then its time for you to get ready. Woohoo! This is real babe!

TIP; make sure you both have everything out and ready to go. Tags taken off suits. Shirts already ironed and boys showered before I arrive!

Dress hanging nicely, all jewellery together, any other details like perfume, cards etc.

3pm; Ceremony time. You’ll have this down pat from your rehearsal night

3:30pm; After the ceremony we do the group photo and family photos while everyone is around.

No grandma you can’t head to the bar yet!

4pm; Let's head off for bridal party photos! If your reception is at about 6pm then this gives us about 90 minutes for your bridal party photos. So pick a couple of locations that you love and we can either drive or walk there. Pick spots that you guys love. Or pick spots that are close together. We can chat about where you want to head because some spots work best at certain times. I’ve also got plenty up my sleeve!

5:30pm; Head back for a sit down and touch up.

Trust me, you want this. You've got a big night ahead!

6pm; Reception! Party time!

Now from here you can really run the night however you want. Some couples want the formalities out of the way straight away so they can relax. Some want to stretch out and save every moment. Whichever way you like is fine but remember to consider what time sunset is so you can get out for those awesome shots as well. Plus you'll be craving some alone time by then. Just a chance for you guys to relax and enjoy 5 minutes together. And then back we go to dance the night away.

Here's a template for a more Untraditional Timeline;

Morning of; So there’s obviously a bit of getting ready to do but you could start with breakfast together. You could have your families their with fresh bread and coffee.

12pm; Traditionally couples get ready separately but there is something quiet sweet about helping each other into your wedding gear. It is very special and intimate.

2pm; If you do get ready separately why not consider a first look? First looks are great for many reasons - a chance to have that moment just to yourselves - if you’re anxious in crowds this could help those nerves - you will also get an extra photo location which we might not be able to get to later.

TIP; If you choose to do a first look keep it intimate. Let everyone else see how stunning you are later!

3pm; Ceremony time. Have some fun with it! Maybe you walk down the aisle together. Maybe you pass around your rings for everyone to ‘warm them’. Maybe you have people throw streamers when you say I do!

3:30pm; After the ceremony we do the group photo and family photos. If you are wanting a more relaxed feel you could have a sort of picnic after your ceremony and then go around and find the people you love for a photo with them.

4pm; Continue the party! Maybe you could organise lawn games with your guest. A walk up a hill together. A fun activity, something you love! Maybe you want to do something cool just the two of you. Eat pizza on a roof top. Play mini golf. Visit your favourite bar.

5:30pm; Have a break. It’s never a bad idea to just have ten minutes alone to sit down and re group.

6pm; Let the real party begin. Crank the tunes! You could have speeches, cut the cake, throw the bouquet, eat a meal. But you dont have to as well! Pick and choose what resonates with you as a couple.

I hope this helps as you plan your special day and of course I am always hear to help where I can or just bounce ideas. It’s your big day! A celebration of you guys! How amazing!
