Alrighty if you are planning a wedding and want some inspiration for some super unique ideas then this blog of Ange & Pete’s Rutherglen Wedding is for you!

Ange & Pete absolutely NAILED doing their wedding their way. I mean yeah they still did a ceremony and reception, first dance and cut the cake but they did it all in a way that suited them. Not just the way they thought it ‘should’ be done.

Wedding’s don’t have to be stiff and boring. They don’t have to follow any rules! Apart from signing those documents everything else is up to you. So have fun with it!

Here’s a couple of unique idea’s for weddings

1. Have a food truck or mobile bar parked outside the venue, serving up tasty treats or cocktails for guests to enjoy.

2. Instead of a traditional guest book, have guests write messages on a puzzle or jenga blocks that you can put together later.

3. Film camera treasure hunt for your guests

4. Plan a surprise dance routine with your wedding party and perform it during the reception.

5. Have a live painter create a unique piece of art inspired by your wedding day.

6. Create a signature cocktail or mocktail for your guests to enjoy, inspired by your favourite drink or your wedding theme.

7. Include a meaningful ritual or ceremony from your cultural or religious background to honour your heritage.

8. Hire a karaoke machine for guests to sing their favourite songs.

Don’t be afraid to think out of the square is all I can say!

Now before I sign off, after these wedding photos you’ll notice the Trash the Dress! These guys chose to do their “engagement session” after their wedding so that they could do a trash the dress instead and get more epic photos in their wedding gear. Does that work for you guys too?
