Top Wedding Venues Around Albury
Are you looking for a venue for your Wedding around Albury?
Well here is a few of my favourites and why I love them.
I will say up front, that unfortunately Albury itself doesn't have a huge variety of venue's actually in town. Which is such a bummer because Albury Wodonga is a pretty big community. But, there are a heap of gems just out of town.
I should also say that this is a very small list to give you some ideas but there are heaps of amazing venues around greater Albury. You've just got to go and find the one that suits who you are.
So without further ado, and in no particular order…
1. St Leonards Rutherglen Victoria
- The vines roll across the hills which gets a stunning sunset
- The barrel room is a beautiful spot to have your reception. Its got all the mood which allows for a beautiful dinner and then to party all night long.
- It has modern elements. Eg the steel wall which looks amazing in photos
- You can have your ceremony and reception there all in the one spot.
2. Corowa Chocolate & Whisky Factory Corowa New South Wales
- This building is stunning! It is so unique and nothing like it
- You've probably seen the amazing shots up in the top room which can be so creative and artsy
- The court yard is stunning for cocktail hour
- The reception room is a gorgeous for either cocktail style or sit down meal
- The food is also realllyyyyy good
3. Brown Brothers Milawa, Victoria
- There are soooo many stunning spots for photos at Brown Brothers. The forest, the cellar, the vines, around the corner to the old building. The list goes on
- It is very well run. They know what they are doing so you can rest easy on the day.
- The only thing I would suggest is; if you are getting married under the oak tree, flip the ceremony to the 'usual way' so that your guests have the vines behind them and you enter from the back. Why? Because there is a devilish thing called 'daple light' which is where you will have patches of light all over you. It is really hard to photograph but if you switch it around, the light will stream through the trees and look amazing.
