Wow where do I start, what an amazing amazing wedding, & what made it that even little bit more special to capture was, to be asked to document such a beautiful day for my sweet child hood lovely Beth & her beau!
Bethany & Jonathon asked me if I would consider traveling to Launceston Tasmania to document their amazing wedding day early on in the planning of their beautiful wedding day, Ummm yes! haha…
I was extremely excited that the couple asked me to capture their blissful love moments to remember a lifetime by & what an honour it was. What a super fun day had by all… Enjoy below some of the highlight moments of the couple’s amazing day!

How was your experience / working with Blissful Love Photography on your wedding day? Working with Jodie was amazing. She takes amazing photos, with minimum fuss and with such a relaxed, upbeat manner that it made the whole experience fun. Blissful Love Photography personnel were understanding, helpful and professional through the whole experience. Jodie was a pleasure to deal with at every step. Thank-You!
How did he pop the question? Jonathon took me to Dove Lake, planned a picnic lunch on a small strip of sandy beach, where candles and poetry led the way too a treasure chest…the best thing was that he had the whole thing photographed by my best friend, who joined us after for the celebratory picnic lunch!
What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding? Firstly, seeing Jonathon as I walked down the aisle and being overwhelmed by nerves and pure joy. And secondly…dancing with my dad to Footloose at the reception.
Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one? It was the first dress I tried on. After months of trying on scores of other dresses, I tried it on again and I knew it was the one. I loved the back detail and the sexy, feminine fit. Plus it has the most delicate, romantic lace on any wedding dress I’ve seen. It was my dream dress.
What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding? Be organised and don’t leave ANYTHING to the last minute unless you absolutely must. But after that…prioritize the people around you and having fun in the lead up to the big day over getting all of your details perfect. Magazine-worthy details don’t make magical memories – people do.
