Bald Hills House in Stanley has to be a new favourite wedding venue of mine!
It has everything all in the one spot creating ease on your wedding day.
The guys got ready in the hut and the girls got ready in the house.
Elle was picked up by Woody at Little Kombi Co and driven up to the ceremony spot for her epic entry down the hill.
These guys made sure we had plenty of time between the ceremony and reception to go to a few spots for epic photos. But don’t worry, they also had time to stop and enjoy the grazing table with their guests before we headed off too!
We went next to the hut, down the road to the orchard and then up to the hop of Mount Stanley for an epic sunset.
Having time between your ceremony and reception is key to how your photos will turn out.
If you want lots of photos at lots of locations then we need a couple of hours to do this.
If you are happy with one spot for photos and then want to get back to your guests then that is totally fine as well. You may only need 45 minutes for this!
Truth be told, you could do photos for 20 minutes if you really want to. Just remember, if we do 20 minutes of photos we only get 20 minutes worth of photos. If we do 2 hours, we get 2 hours. So it's really up to you and what your priority is.
I highly recommend heading out for sunset photos simply because the day is so busy and everyone wants your attention all day. This 20 minutes at sunset together is a good chance for you guys to slow it down and just enjoy some time together. After all, the day is about you guys getting married!
